Dartmoor offers a wide variety of different digital photography
from landscapes to closeups, Neolithic Stone Circles to lush flora. We have
prints of all these in various frames and styles.
Dartmoor has some spectacular stone circles which are nearly 4000
years old. Grey Wethers is the most enchanting with it's two circles
which are still standing. The circles are each approximately 33m (108 feet) in diameter, and less than five metres apart. Their centre points are aligned almost exactly north to south. The northern circle has 20 stones remaining, while the southern has 29 - all of a relatively consistent size, mostly between 1.2m and 1.4m (4-4.5 ft) in height. The circles were restored and many fallen stones were re-erected in 1909.
Dartmoor National Park has an official area of 365 square miles. Dartmoor is known for its tors — large hills, usually topped with rocks. There are over 160 tors on Dartmoor. The highest points on Dartmoor are High Willhays
The remains found on Dartmoor date back to the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age.
